Musical Improv Workshop for rising 4th graders and up
Session Description
This high-energy Musical Improv Workshop introduces students to the joyful chaos of making up songs, characters, and stories completely on the spot. No singing experience required! Through fast-paced games, group numbers, scene work, and simple musical structures, students will learn how to confidently jump into improvised songs in a fun, supportive, and low-pressure environment. The goal of this workshop isn’t perfect singing, it’s bold choices, collaboration, creativity, and learning to trust your instincts. Students will strengthen core improv skills like listening, adaptability, teamwork, and confidence while discovering how music can unlock spontaneity, emotional expression, and connection. Along the way, students will experiment with different musical genres like Broadway, rap, rock, pop, and doo-wop while learning how to create catchy lyrics, memorable characters, and hilarious stories in real time. Expect lots of laughter, big ensemble energy, and the kind of creative freedom that helps kids step outside their comfort zones and fully embrace play. For rising 4th graders and older!

Cancellation Policy
Refunds are subject to a 5% processing fee. Enrollments are fully refundable up to 14 days from the start of the first class and 50% refundable within the 14-days leading up to the first class. Upon the start date of the first class, all enrollments are non-refundable. Absences are non-refundable. Cancellations made by Unthinkable Comedy before the start of the first class in the session will result in a 100% refund. Reasons for this may include not reaching our minimum capacity for the session or other unforeseen events.
