Session Description

Whether you’re stepping into improv for the very first time or looking to keep your comedy skills sharp over the summer, this high-energy workshop is the perfect place to jump in and play. Through fast-paced games, scene work, and collaborative exercises, students will build the core fundamentals of great short-form improv, including listening, resilience, teamwork, commitment, and trusting their instincts. Players will explore character creation, discover “the game” of a scene, and learn how to make bold choices that lead to bigger laughs and stronger storytelling. More than just comedy, improv helps students communicate clearly, think on their feet, support others, and grow in confidence, all in a fun, low-pressure environment packed with laughter and connection. Whether students are brand new to improv or returning to keep their skills warm, every class offers a chance to play, take creative risks, and have an absolute blast. For rising 4th graders and older!
